About

It is one of the first sanctuaries in Tallinn that was completed after Estonia regained its independence and it did create significant sensation with its unusual appearance.
As a kind of tilted hat the house is topped with a roof with a tower. “When the steel construction of the church hall is powerfully asymmetric and vertical resembling a cliff, then the elongated wing of school with its glass surfaces resemble the river conforming to the church. Perhaps it is here in the intersection where the key to the architecture lies,” concludes architect Vilen Künnapu.
