About

Created for the most important concerts, celebrations and receptions (the design was completed in 1976) the V. I. Lenin Tallinn Culture and Sports Palace or Tallinn City Hall with its axes, symmetry and emphasizing mathematical beauty associates with temple architecture of great civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt.
The total length of the building is about 300 meters and its width about 160 meters, its total area is 27 215 square meters.
In addition to the possibility of walking on the roof a striking experience was created by the fact that the building was located completely by the sea which in the Soviet era was strictly controlled and limited.

Guided tours on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Meeting on the stairs in front of the building. Unfortunately it is not possible to enter the building during the tour as the building interior is treated with chemicals against mould.
