In terms of engineering the foundry is to become family-oriented center which among other things will focus on virtual reality and arranging cultural and company-related events. During reconstruction, the same Danish engineering office that has been noted as one of the designers of Tallinn Seaplane Hangars / Estonian Maritime Museum, participated in the process.
The buildings were progressive in their time with their reinforced concrete monolithic frames. The exterior walls between the frames are composed of hollow reinforced concrete blocks. The buildings have three-nave composition which can also be recognized in the design of its facade.
Excursions on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm. We’ll be visiting KAI Arts Centre and Foundry. Gathering in front of Peetri 11.
