About

The open constructions of sport halls connected with sculpturally and rationality following the spirit of leading modernist – Alar Kotli, the winner of the architectural competition in 1957 has managed to design an impetuous modernist building, which was completed for the XV Estonian Song Festival, opening new possibilities regarding the number of participants and also acoustics. At the beginning the stage was meant for around 15 000 performers, but all through the years, during (more) spectacular festivities it has accommodated around half as much choristers. During the guided tours, visitors can peek into the rooms of the building, as well as step into the tower of light where the fire of the festivals is burning during the festivities.
Guided tours on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 pm (in Estonian) and at 4:00 pm (in English). Meeting in Gustav lounge, entrance from behind the arch.
