About

The stretched out building with a festive neoclassical look used to be once a war factory. Even today Arsenal Centre can be regarded as the most significant building of Karjamaa region with its triangle frontispiece and columns resembling a city palace.
The house, built of red bricks, originally had pretty plain interiors as although it was meant as barracks, instead during Estonian War of Independence military equipment was produced here.
After closing down the production, the iconic building of Estonian military industry has found its new life as shopping center.
Although the national heritage protection requirements were not that strict, the implemented design is really discreet regarding the heritage.
Guided tours on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Meeting in front of the entrance on Erika street.
